Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information isPropagated (“we”, “us”) collects when you use ispropagated.com and how we use it. We keep data collection to a minimum and never sell your personal information.

When you run a propagation check, the domain name and record type you enter are sent to independent third-party public DNS resolvers (such as Google, Cloudflare, AdGuard, NextDNS, DNS.SB, Alibaba and DNSPod) so we can display their responses. We do not require an account and do not build a personal profile from the domains you look up.

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Service in aggregate — for example, which pages are viewed and how many people run a check. This helps us improve the tool.

Google Analytics sets cookies and may collect information such as your device and browser type, approximate location (derived from IP address), pages visited, and interactions with the site. This information is processed in an aggregated and anonymized form; IP addresses are handled by Google in accordance with their policies. We do not use this data to personally identify you.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by blocking cookies in your browser, or by using a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts. For more information on how Google uses data, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

The only cookies we rely on are those set by Google Analytics as described above. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so will not affect your ability to run a DNS propagation check.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers described in this policy (the third-party DNS resolvers we query and Google Analytics), each of which processes it under their own terms.

We do not maintain our own long-term store of the domains you look up. Aggregated analytics data is retained by Google Analytics according to the retention settings and policies applicable to that service.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
